U.S. Land Atlas limitations
U.S. Land Atlas is an early-screening tool. Proximity does not establish usable
capacity, service, ownership, access, or a connection right. A strong county
score does not imply that any particular parcel is suitable.
The release does not establish ownership, zoning, developable acreage, wetlands
clearance, utility service, interconnection headroom, water rights, road or rail
access rights, permits, incentives, community acceptance, project economics, or
construction cost. County measures can conceal substantial variation within a
county and some inputs are regional context rather than parcel evidence.
Scores are national relative screening percentiles on a 0-100 scale. They are not forecasts, valuations, engineering findings, or guarantees of project feasibility.
